Reception Items to Mull Over
I never really wanted my own toasting flutes and cake server set, but it was only because I never seen anything that really suited my taste. I also cringe at the thought that my mother and father have NEVER used theirs since their wedding. It just sits in the china cabinet collecting dust.
However, I'm really looking forward to entertaining once Mr. Golden and I finally live together. I need to mention that we also found the song we want to cut the cake to last week, so that could have an influence on my feelings as well. Lol. Nevertheless, I vow right now before all my readers to reuse my wedding day toasting flutes and cake server!
For now, this is the set I'm loosely pondering, but I guess I'll wait and see if I find something else. To be honest, the more I look at it, the more I don't like the toasting flutes. I not sure what it is, but they seem a bit gaudy to me. However I do really like the cake serving set. Ehhh, decisions, decisions. When in doubt, head to Lenox and Swarovski!

I think i agree. I love the cake serving set. but the Flutes... i think its the bottom part... but that's just me ... They could actually look better in person! Have you seen them in person yet?

Honestly I agree with the both of you. I love the serving set but the flutes can use some work.
